Common questions

How much does it cost to join? +
Membership costs just £10 a year, giving you unlimited access to our lending library. A small borrowing fee, starting from as little as 50p per week, applies per item — making it an affordable way to keep your little ones entertained and learning.
How long can I keep toys? +
Standard hire runs for seven days, but you can easily extend or book ahead for multiple weeks — perfect for longer projects, holidays, or firm favourites!
What if something breaks? +
We take the stress out of accidents. Minor repairs are covered as standard, and we'll always guide you through things if a replacement is ever needed.
Where do I collect toys? +
Collections are from our toy store at Strutts Community Centre, Belper. Opening hours: Wednesdays 10am–12pm, Fridays 9:30–11am and Saturdays 9–11:30am.
How should I clean toys before returning them? +
Please clean toys before bringing them back:
  • Wash with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly
  • Use disinfectant wipes if your child has been unwell
  • Avoid soaking wooden or battery-operated toys
We recheck and clean everything again before lending to the next family.
Can I borrow toys for a party or event? +
Yes! Our Party Packs include soft play, slides and ride-ons for birthdays or celebrations. Reserve them online or message us to tailor a pack to your space and age group.
Can I borrow toys for babies under one? +
Absolutely — our Purposeful Play Packs are curated sets designed for 0–12 months, supporting each stage of development. They're available on monthly hire and can be swapped as your baby grows.
