Give toys a second life

Donate toys

Got toys your children have outgrown? Donating helps keep good toys in use for longer, supports affordable play for local families, and reduces waste.

What toys can we accept?

In principle, any toy is welcome, as long as it's in reasonable condition and safe to re-use. When toys come in, we'll usually route them into one of three places:

  • Stay & Play sessions — enjoyed by families every week
  • Toy Library inventory — available for members to borrow
  • Fundraising auctions and sales — supporting the charity's work

Please check before donating

A quick check at home makes a huge difference to our volunteers and helps donations get used sooner.

Condition

Clean and generally good condition — something you'd be happy to hand to a friend. No sharp edges, hazardous loose parts, or obvious damage.

Completeness

Include key parts (puzzle pieces, main accessories). If you have the instructions, pop them in too — helpful, but not essential.

Battery toys

Please make sure battery compartments are secure and working safely — especially on older toys.

Age suitability

If the toy has age guidance on the box or toy itself, it helps us place it in the right category.
